Ovulation Test:

Clearplan One Step is the simplest way to find out when a woman is at her most fertile period and most able to become pregnant. It is proven to be a reliable method for monitoring fertility at home. Clearplan One Step is a Home Ovulation Prediction Test and is designed to detect the surge of LH (Luteinizing Hormone) in the user's urine.

LH is released into the blood stream to induce ovulation; the release of an egg from the ovary. This hormone surge precedes ovulation by 24-36 hours, thus allowing the user to predict ovulation. The egg will only live for about 24-36 hours and sperm will only survive for up to 72 hours, therefore it is important that intercourse occurs around the time of ovulation to maximize the chances for conception to occur. It is very important to note that ovulation does not occur during every menstrual cycle.
